Color: Deep purple color.
Nose: : Red berry fruit, black forest cake, fragrant earth and ground cloves, hint of orange blossom and red roses with continued aeration.
Mouth: Medium body with fine-grained tannins. Softly textured and refreshing. Finishing with a touch of mineral.

Winery Background
Vieux Château Saint André is a small 8-hectare estate in Montagne-Saint-Emilion owned by Jean-Claude Berrouet, who was the winemaker at Pomerol legend Ch Petrus for 44 vintages. Now working alongside his son Jeff, they have transformed this estate, excitingly, into something we can all afford. As wine critic Neal Martin succinctly sums up, “if you cannot afford Petrus… and still need a bit of Berrouet in your wine, then this is a perfect place to start.”
